Emperium EPoS rolled out at the Fabric Warehouse.
Fabric Warehouse, a specialist fabric retailer with stores nationwide, has acquired Emperium Retail solutions from E-Novations to operate its entire business network.
The Fabric Warehouse has been experiencing major difficulties in monitoring stock, pricing and updates, with continuous system failures occurring at head office. The technology the company used was recent but unsophisticated and, for a multiple retailer, its key functions were not adequate for present day operating demands. The company did not have a scalable solution to enable further growth and the entire system required radical updating which the Emperium Retail solution by E-Novations believed it could achieve. Whilst the Emperium Retail product enables the Fabric Warehouse to expand its operations with a simple ‘plug and play’ system at branch level, sophisticated Emperium Back Office and Head Office solutions can concentrate on producing analytical data to enable buying decisions, real time financial control and stock movement analysis and much more - all available on demand.
E-Novations assessed the problem and was given the opportunity to achieve an ambitious target of rolling out all stores in one day. E-novations had confronted similar challenges before, and successfully completed the full installation, training and Live operations, at all branches within the specified time.
Using the E-novations’ Emperium Retail Solution, the Fabric Warehouse was able to assess, monitor and effectively manage the entire chain of stores via one Head Office solution. Information flow is ‘real-time’, permitting greater financial control and merchandising.
